We understand the growing concern in our community surrounding the outbreak of Coronavirus (COVID-19). We share the same concern and our thoughts are with all those who have been affected by this disease.
We currently remain 100% operational. We are actively monitoring all public sources of information and guidance, including the CDC and the World Health Organization, to ensure we are taking the necessary precautions for your well-being.
We’d like to share some of the steps we are taking in our stores and with our in-home teams, including our delivery personnel and service technicians, to keep your families and our employees safe.
SHOPPING OUR STORES
We provide clean and safe stores for our guests every day. On top of our daily cleaning procedures, we’ve implemented frequent disinfecting wipe-down procedures of all common touchpoints such as door handles, checkout counters, and computers. We’ve also increased the frequency of our restroom cleaning and disinfecting. We are trying our best to provide hand-sanitizer for our guests at checkout.
Employees not feeling well or with families experiencing symptoms have been asked to stay home. We have also educated our sales professionals, store admins, and warehouse associates on our extra cleaning protocols. Additionally, we’ve asked all employees to practice safe distancing and avoid touch contact with our guests, including handshakes.
OUR DELIVERY TEAMS AND SERVICE TECHNICIANS
We are taking extra precautions with all in-home service. Employees not feeling well or with families experiencing any symptoms are asked to stay home. Before making a delivery, we are asking guests to reschedule if anyone in their home is experiencing symptoms.
Every in-home team has been provided disinfectant spray to implement wipe-down procedures before and after every stop- including our truck door handles and latches, appliance dollies, and hand tools. In-home teams have been trained to use hand sanitizer or wear disposable gloves at every stop.
In the event you do not want in-home service, we offer free, in-box shipping to your porch or garage and are able to avoid any person to person contact. Contact us at 309-691-4100 if you’d like to postpone or change a scheduled delivery.
